Christmas is as sweet as it gets with Sevva’s two festive cake creations: Splendor and Abundance, both adorned with elegant sugar art by Bonnae Gokson. Splendor ($1,200/500g, $1,800/1,000g) is a buttermilk chiffon cake with exquisite red poinsettia and gold leaf sugar art. The stunning beetroot-red cake is infused with cherries and raspberries and finished with fresh French cream. Chocaholics should definitely get their hands on Abundance ($850/500g, $1,380/1,000g), with wild berries, fruits and holly leaves sugar art setting atop Sevva’s famous chocolate fudge cake. Both cakes are available from now until December 25, 2017. Orders must be placed at least two working days in advance. Cut-off time is at 6pm daily.
Of course, for those who can’t get enough of Sevva’s acclaimed couture creations, the Marie-Antoinette’s Crave and Le Louis cakes are both head-turners of the patisserie world. Crowned with pink cotton candy, Marie-Antoinette’s Crave ($650/darling size, $920/500g, $1,500/1,000g) is a pistachio chiffon cake with cream and raspberries, and adorned with rose petals, mango and mocha macarons and pastel sugar dragees. Le Louis ($590/darling size, $850/500g, $1,380/1,000g), crowned with baby blue cotton candy, is a chocolate chiffon with black and blueberries, whipped French cream, marshmallow and sugar dragees. Both of these signature cakes are for dine-in only and require 25 minutes of preparation time, but definitely worth the wait!
