Alvy’s is serving hearty brunch fare that includes classic Yiddish deli items, as well as a selection of brunch pizzas and sharing plates. The Classic Deli Latkes with sour cream and salmon roe are always a good choice, and the house cured lox served with an ‘Everything’ bagel by Schragels of Sheung Wan and cream cheese is a true New Yorker’s breakfast. You have to try the Alvy’s Involto and watch as the onsen eggs break and ooze as you cut into the pizza dough wrapped around char siu and sundried tomatoes. The Triple B Sourdough Pancakes are some of the best we’ve ever had – two enormous fluffy rounds of goodness drenched in a sweet bourbon sauce and dotted with bananas and bacon. For drinks, craft beers on tap with Happy Hour prices are available, as well as three variations of Bloody Mary.
