For one night only on October 19, Young Master Ales will be collaborating with Lobster Bar & Grill at Island Shangri-La hotel for a beer pairing dinner, showcasing eight limited edition beers from the local craft brewery to be paired with a special menu of inventive dishes created by head chef Kenny Chan.
Pairings to watch out for include the hickory smoked horse mackerel paired with Island Ale, a beer exclusive to Island Shangri-La hotel; spiced scallop ceviche to go with Days of Being Wild, Hong Kong’s first lambic-style beer; and for dessert, tonka bean ice cream paired with the barrel-aged imperial stout Hak Mo Sheung.
