Upscale Japanese restaurant ANA TEN is the latest to join the line of new eateries popping up at Harbour City’s new waterfront extension. A collaborative effort between consulting chef Ryogo Ozawa, former poissonnier of three-Michelin-starred L’Assiette Champenois, and ANA TEN’s executive chef Kam Wah Au-Yeung, ANA TEN serves an array of classic Japanese delicacies – omakase, tempura, skewers, and more – with a contemporary touch. We particularly fancy the thin sliced yellowtail with foie gras cube on nanko plum vinegar sauce ($248), Japanese mantis shrimp tempura with crab paste ($88), as well as the awaodori chicken kidney skewer ($38). Also not to be missed are Japanese folklore character-themed cocktails by mixologist Dorothy Lam, such as the Shuten-Doiji ($118) and Crane Lady ($118). The spectacular view of Victoria Harbour is just the cherry on top.
