Experience the Finest Kyoto Cuisine in Hong Kong and Macau

Michelin-starred chef Kazuo Takagi of Kyoto Cuisine Takagi in Ashiya, Japan, is coming to town! Famed for crafting Kyo-ryori, or Kyoto cuisine, chef Takagi has created a tasting menu as part of the Michelin guide Hong Kong Macau Dining Series, bringing traditional Kyoto cooking methods to our plates.

Diners will start with an appetiser of Kegani Crab, sea urchin, caviar, local seasonal vegetables, herbs and dashi jelly, reflecting the four seasons of Kyoto; one of his most well-known dishes is his dashi broth with abalone, asparagus, onsen egg, green peas and black truffle. Finish off with an innovative dessert featuring traditional flavours of Japanese red tea and matcha, complemented by a creamy milk sorbet with mango and pineapple pureé.

Chef Takagi’s five-course lunch menu and eight-course dinner menu will be available exclusively at Whisk, Hong Kong on August 9 and Tenmasa, Macau on August 11 and 12 starting at MOP888pp – book tickets here to avoid disappointment!
