2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover, and this July 1, Kerry Hotel is offering front row seats at its waterfront terraces for unobstructed views of the Hong Kong skyline and the 8pm fireworks display that marks the occasion.
Kerry Hotel’s eccentric bar Red Sugar will be offering an evening package of $750pp, which includes one drink on arrival from their selection of enticing beers, sparkling wines and selected cocktails in addition to a range of snacks from smoked salmon to pulled pork bao.
Led by award-winning chef Ken Yu, Hung Tong offers a passionate take on traditional Cantonese cusine. Try its special July 1 dinner menu ($988pp, minimum 2 people) featuring a host of chef Yu’s signature dishes such as grilled eel tossed with osmanthus honey sauce, deep-fried crispy tofu with spiced salt, and a plethora of other delectable delicacies.
Big Bay Cafe, an all-day dining restaurant, is upping the ante on the special day with a dinner buffet (from $698pp) of a deluxe chilled seafood spread, premium barbecued dishes, a dessert lab serving unlimited liquid nitrogen ice cream, and more.
