Culinary expert, chef, restaurateur and author of Flavors of Indonesia William Wongso will be in town for a multi-sensory evening event featuring tastings of unique Indonesian spices, ceremonial specialities, canapés, drinks, as well as a spice-inspired art installation by artist Lie Fhung. Mr Wongso will be joined by Dr Daisy Tam of Baptist University in conversation about the world’s largest archipelago and its culinary heritage, as well as unfolding Mr Wongso’s journey in putting Indonesia on the gastronomic world map.
