To celebrate the recent launch of Aqua Luna II – a traditional Chinese junk boat adorning sails of the imperial blue and white dragon from the Ming Dynasty, all Hong Kong permanent ID card holders are entitled to one 45-minute complimentary ride on the new fleet this weekend (May 13 and 14) at a first come, first served basis. The fleet commences at 12pm noon from Central Pier 9, with the last ride at 4.45pm leaving from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier 1.
Possibly one of the last traditional Chinese junk boats to ever be made, Aqua Luna II took two years to build, and was constructed by master craftsman Au using only wood and bamboo but without a single nail.
What’s more, from now until May 31, all restaurants in Aqua Restaurant Group will be randomly serving dishes and cocktails in Ming Dynasty plates and cups. The lucky patrons will receive complimentary tickets for the new Aqua Luna II.
Want to enjoy dim sum while you sail? Join in on the dim sum cruises ($400pp) on Mondays and enjoy a dim sum lunch with delectable dishes from Dim Sum Library, as well as a cruise to Repulse Bay (pick-up from Tsim Sha Tsui or Central).
