Chef Satoru Mukogawa of Sushi Kuu and chef Dan Segall of PizzaExpress had a cook off last month where they each created a signature pizza to battle for a spot on PizzaExpress’ menu. Chef Mukogawa presented his Yamaimo & Chicken Pizza (teriyaki chicken, yamaimo, a soft runny egg, mozzarella and tomato), while chef Segall’s creation is the Yuzukosho & Clam Pizza (béchamel sauce, yuzukoshu, clams, pork sausages, buffalo mozzarella, parmesan and breadcrumbs).
From now until April 30, these two pizzas are available at selected PizzaExpress outlets (Wing Fung Street, Wan Chai; Wellington Street, Central; Miramar mall, Tsim Sha Tsui; Hong Kong International Airport), and are priced at $138 each. The one with most number of pizzas sold will be the winner. What’s your pick?
