We say “si” to the latest F&B addition at D2 Place Two in Lai Chi Kok, which serves unpretentious Italian fare prepare by executive chef Massimo Santovito. Diners can choose from the seasonal organic menu and the a la carte menu. The organic cold cut plate is only $228, with the Mora Romagnola, an Italian ham exclusive to Si in Hong Kong, stealing the show. For mains, we particularly fancy the eggplant parmigiana with tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil ($88) and the oven-baked Italian sea bass served with cherry tomato and black olive sauce ($268). Be sure to round off your meal with the hazelnut semifreddo ($98) that is impossible to order just one.
