The Crave team is full of egg waffle fanatics, so naturally, we’re excited about Hong Kong’s first street festival celebrating the iconic gai daan jai. This weekend, head over to the Lee Garden One driveway at Causeway Bay for EGGssentially Art!, where eight restaurants and egg waffle stores offer a curated menu of classic and groundbreaking flavours. We particularly look forward to Seasons by Olivier E.’s chocolate egglettes with homemade vanilla ice cream and gianduja cream, as well as Twins Kitchen’s s’mores egglettes. Other curious flavours include Mammy Pancake’s egglettes with Wing Wah Chinese sausage and double cheese, and Oddies’ Chinese doughnut and pork floss egglettes.
