Last night, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant 2017 ceremony was held in Bangkok and live-streamed on FineDiningLovers.com. If you missed it, fret not. While Gaggan from Bangkok claimed the number one spot three years in a row, seven of Hong Kong’s top eateries made the list this year at Asia’s Best 50 Restaurants, including Amber (No.3), 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA (No.4), Lung King Heen (No.17), Ta Vie (No.33), L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Hong Kong (No.41) and The Chairman (No.47) and Ronin (No.45).
Umberto Bombana of 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA is also the 2017 recipient of the Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award, and May Chow of Hong Kong’s Little Bao is named Asia’s Best Female Chef. Congratulations to all the winners!
