Four Wine & Spirits Events Not to be Missed This March

Calling all wine fiends, beer fans, whisky fanatics and sake aficionados! March is jam-packed with must-go events for anyone who take their drinking seriously. Keep reading to find out the Crave team’s (who always drink in moderation, by the way) favourite four.

BeerFest Asia Hong Kong 2017 [Postponed until further notice]
When: March 2, 6pm to 11pm; March 3, 4pm to 11pm; March 4, 12pm to 11pm; March 5, 12pm to 10pm

Four days of great beers, over 20 international and local live bands and DJs, and a plethora of food, entertainment and boozy games and challenges… BeerFest Asia is back in Hong Kong in 2017 for its second installment! Our very own Gweilo Beer, Lion Rock Brewery and Little Creatures will also be having booths at the event.

Standard tickets start from $150 each and include one complimentary welcome beer. VIP tickets (starts at $580) are also available, which include free-flow beer, fast track and deck access. Check out their website for more details.

  

Hong Kong Whisky Festival 2017
When: March 4, from 12pm

Avid malt fans must not miss the largest whisky festival in Hong Kong. Organised by InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong and Tiffany’s New York Bar, Hong Kong Whisky Festival 2017 returns for its second year with over 350 different whisky expressions for you to sample alongside master classes to enrich your whisky knowledge and tasting skills, from a cigar and whisky pairing workshop to a seminar on how terroir can influence whiskies.

Can you believe City’super’s Sake Fair has been running for 18 years? To celebrate, a record high of over 150 types of sake from 20 breweries across Japan will be showcased at the event, which includes brand new and limited edition products.
