Delve into a merry Christmas at Asia’s best pastry chef Janice Wong’s COBO HOUSE. Her carefully crafted six-course festive dinner menu features delicate dishes such as Ice Garden, a cold salad of shiso, edamame and frozen pear; the Halibut Crab where exquisitely marinated crab meat sits atop the halibut fish; and the beautiful Purple Chestnut dessert made with hot and cold chestnut cream, lavender marshmallow and red pepper gel. Priced at $880 per person, the holiday dinner menu is served from 6pm to 10:30pm on December 24 to 27 and 31. To celebrate the season of gifting, on December 24, 25 and 31, every guest will also receive a “Touch” scented candle made in France by Production Q.

The French seafood bistro famed for its ocean-to-table concept will be cooking up a hearty Christmas feast this winter. The Dégustation de Fruits des Mers X’mas menu includes the langoustine raviolo with osetra caviar and light foie gras sauce, fine scallop tartare on toast, sea urchin risotto topped with a 63°C onsen egg, seared sea bass with lemongrass froth, and finished with a tomato confit dark chocolate fondant with a side of vanilla ice cream. The five-course menu costs $980 per person, and is available throughout December.

How about some spicy Mexican fare to get the party started? Hop over to Mamasita’s Cantina for its Christmas special set lunch (from $158 per head) with four appetisers, a choice of main including the six-inch taco with pork confit, the 48-hours brined milk-fed hen suprĕme, and poblano peppers stuffed with Angus beef rump in Oaxacan style, as well as the ultra-decadent crispy churros with salted caramel ice cream for dessert. Don’t find your usual favourites on the menu? Come for dinner instead as you can still order a la carte on Christmas night.

Christmas is as good a time as any for steak, and meat lovers will be delighted with the news that for the first time in Hong Kong, Morton’s will be opened for lunch this festive season. A three-course lunch menu ($388 per person) is served from December 21 to 23, with highlights including the lobster bisque, centre-cut filet mignon (6oz), crab cake burger with caper dill mayonnaise, and the double chocolate mousse. Special dinner set menus are also available on Christmas Eve ($1,388 per head) and Christmas Day ($1,088 per head).
