A recent trip to Miyazaki and its revered teppanyaki restaurant, Miyachiku, has inspired Kaika’s executive chef to create a six-course wagyu beef dinner menu that will please even the most carnivorous diner. Smoked seared beef and sea urchin with vinegar is the highlight of the meal, with juicy Hokkaido sea urchin ingeniously complemented by the meatiness of the beef. Another noteworthy item is the Miyazaki wagyu beef ochazuke with warm Japanese rice served with tea and thin slices of wagyu beef. The Miyazaki wagyu feast is $1,180 per person.
