Chocolate and Wine: The New Match Made in Heaven

Oh cheese, how we love thee, but there’s strict competition ahead with this chocolatey decadent Lindt Excellence and wine pairing concept. Delectable Lindt dark chocolates, well-known for its extra-thin bars and very high cocoa content, will be available for tasting alongside quality wines at the Riedel tent at the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Wine and Dine event, which is taking place at Central Harbourfront from October 27 to 30 this year.

The beloved classic with 70% cocoa has a slight bitter taste initially that transitions into intense aromas of cocoa and scents reminiscent of dried fruits and tobacco. Pair this with a Merlot-Cabernet Franc blend from Bordeaux and experience notes of rich fruits and a lingering liquorice finish. Prefer something else? There are nine other chocolates in the Lindt Excellence range to choose from, such as Sea Salt, Caramel, and Intense Orange!
