After a two year break, The Drawing Room – Drawing Room Concepts’ first restaurant – will be returning this June, replacing Vasco in PMQ. Renowned for its refined Italian cuisine, the restaurant will be helmd by Italian chef de cuisine Gabriele Milani and offer two tasting menus with optional wine pairing suggestions. The tasting menus not only retain the signature dishes from their classic tasting menu (from $798) but also incorporate new seasonal creations on their seasonal tasting menu (from $798). Their special seasonal creations include creamy burrata with raw tomatoes juice and marinated Italian red prawn, langoustine tartare with Amalfi lemon cream and cucumber mayonnaise, and spaghetti with sea urchin and bottarga.
During the soft opening, The Drawing Room will partner with Cat Street Gallery to display three playful pop art pieces. Colour pencils and sketching paper are also placed on every table, so guests are at the liberty to express themselves. If you’re inclined to take photos of your art, remember to use the hastag #wecandrawTDR on Facebook and Instagram. It’s about time you show off your artistic talents. Don’t be shy.
